Terrorist plot thwarted in London.

Sky News reports 20 people arrested in plot to smuggle explosives aboard airplanes and involved people boarding flights and detonating explosives on planes over UK and US cities.

Why do we not hear about this news more often?

This being my first post at this blog, I just wanted to get something started. While I am a fairly private person (that may seem odd for someone with 2 blogs at the moment), I do feel I should introduce myself.

I go by the initials TP on this blog. I have a family that I love very much. My wife and I have a wonderful daughter that brings us so much joy I am thankful every day.

I served in the Marine Corps for 8 years. I made many friends that have stayed friends for years. I saw things that I would never have had a chance to see otherwise and saw a few that I never want to see again.

I live and work in the Midwest. I have lived or visited most parts of this great country and several other countries and there is no other place I would want to live.

I will be posting more as I feel the need and as I have the time.
